Awards, Achievements & Recognition

Our greatest accomplishment is being able to help people in the Four Corners community. Our participation in this diverse community, our friendhsip with each other, and the ability to share our strengths with Polk, Osceola, Orange and Lake Counties — make our organization the successful, fast-growing Club that it is.

Artful Bra Contest

In honor and recognition of Breast Awareness, GFWC has created an "Artful Bra Contest". Specially selected decorated bras will travel throughout the state of Florida. Our very own Donna and Diane submitted bras for the competition.  Diane's bra was selected to be one of the bras that will go on tour for the next year!

2009 General Federation of Women's Clubs Awards

GFWC Four Corners won 9 awards at the Statewide GFWC Spring Convention in April, 2010 held at Orlando's Rosen Plaza. Awards were all in category one (membership level) for the following areas:

2008 General Federation of Women's Clubs Awards

Our first year as an official entity in the General Federation of Women's Clubs, we were honored to receive four awards at the GFWC Florida Convention held in April, 2009 at Orlando's Rosen Plaza. We were honored with the following awards:
