Donations: How You Can Help

The GFWC Four Corners Jr. Woman's Club accepts donations of all kinds. Each month we focus on a different group or organization to help, therefore each month's desired items also change. Please feel free to >>contact us for a list of the items we are collecting this month.

We also accept cash donations. These donations have a different meaning and history for each of our generous donors. For example, we recently received this great commitment:

“I sent $50.00 today as a donation in my mother's memory. Katherine Sears Finch. She was an active Jr. Women's Club member in Faifax, VA. and North Palm Beach, FL. It is because of her involvment and the Women's Clubs dedication to providing services, when the federal government did not have laws providing for young people with disabilities, that many people were helped. She and her Jr. Women's Groups affected change with the federal laws and the start-up of Special Olympics working with the Kennedy administration.” —Ruth Holland, LearnToStayFit.com

Before discarding your new or gently-used personal and household items, please consider donating them first. If you have a particular passion or are interested in supporting a specific cause that is important to you, contact us for information on how you can help!

Previously collected donations include a variety of items — on behalf of many different organizations. Donations have included:

school supplies (paper, pencils, office supplies)
clothing
pet supplies (leashes, collars, bedding)
furniture
shoes (for children & adults)
baby supplies
paper products
hygiene products (hand sanitizer, lotion, soap)
coupons — we send these to our military troops
money (always accepted and appreciated)

Items can be brought to any of our monthly meetings or sent to our mailing address. If you are donating a monetary gift, please make your check payable to our Club and mail it to the address below:
