Thank you for your interest in the GFWC Four Corners Jr. Woman's Club. We host a variety of events and meetings throughout the year. Whether you're looking for a volunteer organization to join or a special event to attend, join us. Each month ofers different guest speakers — in addition to all of these special events.

A Night At The Races

The GFWC Four Corners Junior Woman’s Club is sponsoring “A Night At The Races” on Saturday, February 5, 2011 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at Ridgewood Lakes Golf Club, 200 Eagle Ridge Drive, Davenport. This is a mock horseracing event to raise funds for local charitable donations throughout the year.

Admission and buffet is $15.00 per person (including tax and gratuity). The menu includes hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, homemade Southern potato salad, tossed salad, baked beans, lemonade, iced tea, and cookies. There will be a cash bar.

Come bet on the horses, enter a 50/50 raffle and vie for a bonus golf prize. For tickets, directions or additional information, please call 863-420-1226.

Spring Fling Fashion Show

2010 Membership Fashion Show: 5/21/2010

Members, friends, families and co-workers gathered for this fantastic, annual fundraising event at the ChampionsGate Golf Club. The Fashion Show is an afternoon event including lunch, raffles and some of the Four Corners' finest runway models. Whether you've modeled before — or have just always wanted to, we'd love for you to participate in the next event. Great for families and children of all ages. Last Year: 2009 Fashion Show: 5/20/09

Location: Angelina's Family Restaurant, Celebration, Florida
The 2009 Fashion Show was a great success and we're already looking forward to next year's event. There were 65 people in attendance — all who helped raise more than $1,300 in donations. The 2009 event focused on two organizations: Help Now Osceola County, and JMJ Life Center. In addition, more than $2,500 in door prizes were awarded. Great fun was had by all!

Monthly Meetings

Our membership meetings are typically held the 3rd Wednesday of every month. Unless otherwise noted, our meetings are held at the Community of Faith Church in Davenport, Florida. For a map and directions to our meeting location, please click here.

These one-hour meetings include lunch, guest speakers, and a wide variety of information regarding our goals, accomplishments, and ideas for future engagements. The cost to attend each meeting is just $5. We also offer raffle tickets for an assortment of fun items.

Everyone is invited to attend one meeting prior to becoming one of our members. Although these luncheons last one hour, we encourage everyone to arrive 30-minutes prior to the beginning of the meeting. This allows for time to talk with friends, network, chat with the guest speakers, and get to know the new, visiting attendees.

Texas Hold'em Tournament

Join us for our 1st Annual Pizza-n-Poker Texas Hold'em event. This charity tournament will be held Thursday, Dec. 3 at the Ridgewood Lakes Golf Club House. Registration: 5pm; play starts at 6pm.
